Below is a step-by-step guide for installing the head unit to a Ford Fiesta MK7 / MK7.5:

  1. Start by removing the top plastic cover using a trim tool. Apply some force if needed, as it's designed to withstand such pressure without damage.
  2. Unscrew the X4 T25 Screws and disconnect the radio from the back.
  3. Locate and unscrew the x2 Bolts positioned above the buttons near the CD/DVD Port. Use a trim tool to remove the media controls.
  4. Disconnect the media controls.
  5. Firmly extract the radio unit, disconnecting the two antenna cables and the main power cable.
  6. Now, prepare the new head unit. Gather the canbus box, antenna, and power plugs.
  7. Connect the cables to the back of the radio. You might find it easier to detach it from the plastic cover using the X4 screws. Remember the small white plug.
  8. Once all plugs are in place, reinstall the radio into the plastic casing and secure it with screws.
  9. Reconnect the media controls, clip them and the bottom trim back into position. Secure the media controls with the X4 T25 bolts.
  10. Connect the remaining cables to the new display.
  11. Clip the display into place.
  12. Turn on the vehicle; the display should power up, allowing you to connect your mobile device, whether Android or iPhone.
Notice: The media controls are replaced by the display and will become inoperable. All media controls can be controlled via the display, and the media buttons on the steering wheel can be programmed in the settings.
