The Revo Intercooler Pipe Upgrade kit increases power and reduces lag by replacing the restrictive stock pipework. Designed for the Ford Mustang 2.3 EcoBoost, this upgrade features a larger internal diameter, direct routing, smoother bends and removes the sound suppressor chamber. This means the turbo meets less resistance and can perform more effectively at any level of tuning.
A multitude of design features and attention to detail that Only Revo offer means this a product that not only looks great but more importantly performs. Thicker reinforced oil resistant silicone hoses, lightweight mandrel bent aluminium pipework, built in wire harness for the stock DV, flush fit joins to eliminate turbulence and is designed to fit either the stock or Revo Intercooler.
Each hose has been designed to increase the overall diameter. A larger volume of air in the system means reduced flow resistance, allowing the turbo to spool quicker and produce more power earlier in the RPM range.
While many solutions mimic the OEM route, Only Revo ensure the smoothest path to the intercooler. Smoothing out the radius of each bend and gradually tapering hose dimensions minimises turbulence and dramatically reduces restriction, further improving boost response.
Only Revo scrutinises every detail of the existing system to ensure a quality product for your Mustang. Alongside impressive performance benefits, this kit includes high-quality stainless steel clamps, reinforced oil resistant silicone hoses and is finished in black with a laser etched Revo logo.
All Revo testing is done in-house by our own engineers using a 4wheel DynaPack hub dyno to ensure fair and accurate results for all vehicles tested.
The Revo Mustang Intercooler Pipe Upgrade was tested on an in-house, US-spec. 2.3L Ecoboost Mustang, fitted with the full Revo Stage 2 Package. Comparison runs were carried out with the stock pipes vs the Revo Intercooler Pipe Upgrades
The smooth and increased airflow from upgraded Intercooler pipes produced peak gains of 7WHP and 11NM over the stock pipes. The more direct routing of the pipe work gives a performance increase in both power and torque from 3300RPM all the way to the rev limit.
